Team: Joe Lumley, Darnell Furlong, Jordan Buck, Brandon Comley, Harly Wise, Cole Kpekawa, Conor Hubble, Abdul Adegbola, Michael Petrasso, Petros Skapetis, David Fitzpatrick. Looking down the team sheet I noticed that the Hanwell squad included our ex-Youth team player, Terry Smith who was listed at No.6. Of the 21 named R’s players I knew around half including Darnell Furlong who I had previously seen playing in midfield, but on this occasion he took up a full-back position. On a hot, … Continue reading

Team: Lumley, McDonnell, Walker, Champion, Brown, Sendles-White, Comley, Hubble, Gibbons, Monthe, Webb. There were a number of players missing from the starting line-up for various reasons. Emmanuel Monthe had already played in a number of positions throughout the season and this time he started upfront. Despite his imposing stature, Monthe is deceptively quick and has an array of skills in his armoury. The first chance fell to Jordan Gibbons following a good corner. As the ball came in, he dipped … Continue reading
