Issued by Godfrey Phillips & Sons in 1920, the set of 90 ‘silks’ featured the club colours of mainly English football clubs, but also over 20 rugby league sides. These included the likes of; Manchester City, Batley, Liverpool, Woolwich Arsenal, West Ham, Swansea Town and the Rochdale Hornets. Apparently, they came in two different sizes. Last November, Don Shanks completed the New York City Marathon, when he ran in memory of Stan Bowles, and for every family affected by dementia. Once again, well done Don.  To commemorate this, the 33rd Indy R’s badge featured Don and 100 were produced.  Then, a few days ago £250.00 was paid into Don’s ‘Just Giving’ page.
