The 1920 QPR B.D.V. League Colours Silk

Issued by Godfrey Phillips & Sons in 1920, the set of 90 ‘silks’ featured the club colours of mainly English football clubs, but also over 20 rugby league sides.

These included the likes of; Manchester City, Batley, Liverpool, Woolwich Arsenal, West Ham, Swansea Town and the Rochdale Hornets.

Apparently, they came in two different sizes. The smaller ones were given away with B.D.V cigarettes, whilst the larger versions were only obtainable directly from the company.
