Charlton game

Post by ESSEXURs »

Watched on Sky.
Yet another game where great approach play and total domination of a mainly negative Charlton produced sod
all around their area.

What do we do between matches? Sit on settees in the training ground lounge watching old Rs videos reminiscing
about the good old days when scoring was easy?
Last night 28/72% possession 15 shots 2 on target sums it up!

Do we not have an attack/finishing coach?

The only good thing is our Defensive coach seems to be earning his crust at long last.
This midfielder obsession is killing football. Surely we could find an old pro or lower league player capable of at least
fifteen goals a season.

Fair comment Essex. I agree

We dominated play had the chances but fired blanks. We should have won. In the end we got a point
which puts us 4th but again picked up more injuries along the way.

I have said it before and I will say it again we have a few players who can't last 90 minutes plus several
others who cannot manage 2 games in 4 days. I reckon we are near the bottom of the league when it comes
to fitness levels

Two more injuries last night with Tariq Lamptey Jimmy Dunne being
forced off! And where was Koki Saito?

Apparently Charlton had nine players out injured & we can't be far behind!!

I don't think Nathan Jones was cautioned despite all that ranting & raving

I try not to get carried away with stats but 72% possession, 12 corners,
15 shots & only two on target

As far as I know Rayan Kolli is fit but wasn't involved with either squad last
night. Why?

We know Kolli can score and given a run upfront he will score more. Being in and out of
the team does nothing to breed consistency.
He’s listed as a first team member so why is he not on the subs bench at the very least.

He has many attributes that Kone does not have in his present form.
It makes no sense.
