Good luck to her, from the Club...
QPR Women are delighted to confirm the signing of centre-back Renee Johnson ahead
of the 2026/27 season.
Johnson returns to W12 after beginning her footballing journey in the club's youth setup.
The defender joins the R's from Charlton Athletic, having also gained valuable senior experience
during a loan spell at Hashtag United.
Speaking after completing her return to QPR, Johnson said: "I'm really excited to get going.
Obviously, the club has good aspirations and I'm ready to go."
Returning to Rangers was an easy decision for the defender.
"I actually started off at QPR when I was younger, before moving to Charlton and then going on
loan to Hashtag," she continued. "I really like the vision and what the club wants to do over the
next couple of years. I also love the coaching style, so it felt like the right move for me."
Johnson is clear on what she wants to achieve during her return to W12.
"As a team, it's about building together, starting to gel and aiming for promotion," she added.
"I'm just looking forward to getting more game time and helping the team win games."
Everyone at QPR would like to welcome Renee back to the club and wish her every success i
n blue and white.'
