Hull game

Post by ESSEXURs »

How can we get a result like that after dishing up dross at home the week before?!
Pleased for Bennie there is a good player in him with careful handling.
Much travelling before next game but that is three more points than I expected.

Looking like ending in a draw in the closing stages it
then burst into life & we could/should have won it by
more.

Well done Daniel Bennie with that wonder strike & after
taking his goal so well, hopefully that will give Richard Kone
the confidence he has been lacking of late.

Great support from the 700+ R's fans.

Great to see a win and 3 goals scored.

Could have been more and glad for Kone after couple of misses Bennie 👏👏👏

Good to see us first to the ball so many times plus nippy link ups to engineer goal chances.

Defence did well for the most part. When RND is up against a quicker opponent, there
is a vulnerability that needs to be managed better

Good entertaining watch. Can we put a run together?

A great result at a tough venue, but I never thought at any stage we would lose this game.

There has been a lot of talk about Hull City doing well this season, I thought we were by
far the better team yesterday and should have scored more than 3 goals.

I know Ronnie Edward’s will get the blame for the Hull goal, but Norrington Davies has to
defend better in that situation. He made no effort whatsoever to try and stop the cross
coming into the box from the Hull winger, it was lazy defending and unfortunately it was
something we have seen on a number of occasions this season.

I thought the performances of Kone and Kolli on the day were poor, Kone should have been
walking away with the match ball.

I just hope we can go to Southampton midweek and come away with a positive result.
