'ALEX Aoraha has joined Al Zawraa SC.

The 23-year-old midfielder has completed a permanent move to the Iraqi top-flight side.

Aoraha, who made his senior debut for the Iraq national team in November 2022, joined
QPR at the age of 11.

After successfully progressing through the ranks, he became a regular for the Under-18s
and Development Squad before training regularly with the first team.

He made one senior appearance for the R’s, with his debut coming against Norwich City
in the Carabao Cup in August 2023.

Al Zawraa SC are currently sixth in the Iraq Stars League.

CEO Christian Nourry said: “We want to wish Alex all the best as he kickstarts his professional career.

“This was an exciting opportunity for him - he has been nothing but professional and hard-working
during my time here and long before that too.”
