'DANIEL Bennie bagged as QPR’s Development Squad drew 1-1 with Manchester City U21s
on Tuesday afternoon.

Returning to action after a Christmas break, the Dev Squad made the trip to M11 for a
behind-closed-doors friendly at the City Football Academy.

It was Rangers who opened the scoring but Bennie’s 25th-minute breakthrough – his eighth
of the season – was cancelled out by City’s equaliser early in the second half.

The young R’s resume league affairs next Tuesday, when there’s a west London derby against
Brentford under the lights at Hanwell Town’s Oliver Connell & Son Community Stadium.
