I was told just before kick-off that Alan is in Hammersmith Hospital
with an induced coma after a suspected heart attack...

Thoughts & prayers for Alan at this time.

I have known Alan for over 60 years, and this has come as a total shock.

Our respective families lived within walking distance in Queens Park, mine in
Kilburn Lane and Alan's in Third Avenue.

The prognosis does not look good and God willing that Alan manages to pull through this.

Ron Hill has just told me that Alan is still sedated & they're waiting
for the results of an MRI & ECG test.....

Ron Hill has told me that Alan is coming out of the induced
coma & is beginning to breath on his own.

I was being told pre-match yesterday that Alan had passed away
Where did that come from???

Myself & Jeff Ledwidge went to Hammersmith Hospital today.

Alan has been put back in an induced coma whilst various tests
continue.
