QPR B and a Reading XI battled out a 1-1 draw at the Royal’s Bearwood Park training complex in a scheduled friendly on Wednesday afternoon.
In an even game which saw Dillon Barnes, Niko Hamalainen and Faysal Bettache all featuring for the Super Hoops, Ody Alfa was the man on target for the R’s, whilst Yakou Meite slotted home for the hosts in Berkshire.
In this behind closed doors clash, Rangers found themselves behind with just 15 minutes on the clock, with Meite who himself is returning to action following a spell on the side lines scored a fine free kick from the edge of the box.
Both sides then had chances, but as the R’s pushed for an equaliser it eventually arrived with 80 minutes on the clock, with forward Alfa making no mistake from 12-yards.
