Alan Jefferies - May he Rest in Peace

Post by Steve Russell »

Joe English phoned with the very sad news that Alan Jefferies had passed away over the weekend.
He could have only been in his 50's.

He was known to be one of the first up in the Springbok for Topper's (RIP) post-match Karoke sessions.

Joe also told me that he had once (for about 10 seconds) been on either the X-Factor or Britain's Got Talent.

Rest in Peace Alan....

So sad. AJ was a lovely fella.

He used to play for my 3rd team at Harrow St Mary's, he may not of been the best player we had in terms of talent, but in terms of being a decent human being, who genuinely cared for others, he was a king.

Those who knew AJ will know exactly what I mean.

This is sad news indeed. God bless you brother in hoops. 💙😎💙
