QPR v the Phoney Hoops

Post by steveqpr881 »

Living in Reading as I do (for my sins), I've the inside gen on the Phonies.
First, they haven't won in living memory - in fact, they've taken some real pastings lately.
Second, they often take the lead, but then throw it away;
so don't get disheartened if they score first, in fact that'll be a bad omen for them
Third, they don't seem to have full match fitness, they often concede late goals;
so if the game seems to be sewn up after, say 80 mins, don't leave early -
you might miss a goal or 2 for the Rs.
Of course, against all that (not to mention the Phonies' low League position),
you've got to remember that we do less well against teams in the bottom half of the table.
So, Steve's Match Prediction: we should do 'em, but I haven't got a clue.
:oops:
