A decent game, with Rangers knocking the ball around well, with
some precise passing.
Must mention Pierce Charles' distribution, the champagne moment
when he curled the ball to the feet of a team mate out wide in their
half
Absolutely wonderful...
A small Italian turnout but a decent crowd of 8,204, also considering
that the game v Atalanta in 2015 only attracted 3,114.
There 29 was getting abuse every time he touched the ball.
We took the lead around the half-hour mark from Nicolas Madsen's
spot kick after Paul Smyth was brought down.
Boy Kemper made it two before the visitors pulled a goal back just
before the break, Pierce Charles made a superb save but couldn't
stop the follow up.
Good work by Alfie Lloyd at the bye-line set up a well placed
Paul Smyth who turned his head to take the ball away from the
keeper.
Told that their second goal could well have been offside?
Lots of positives apart from the two injuries of course.
