Good luck to her, from the Club...

'NICOLE Barrett is looking forward to getting started after completing a move to QPR FC Women
ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The full-back, who can play on either side, arrives from Oxford United and says it didn't take long
to feel that QPR was the right club for her.

"I'm really excited," said Barrett, who also represented Portsmouth in WSL2. "The club's great, the
facilities are great. I'm really excited just to get started now."

One of the biggest reasons behind her decision was the atmosphere around the club.

"For me, QPR has a real family feel to it across all elements, from the men's to the women's to the
academy," she said.

"I really like the set-up all round, so the family feel for me really sold it."

Barrett believes she can bring valuable experience to the squad as the R's look to have a successful
season and push for promotion to the third tier.

"I'm looking forward to bringing my experience to the club," she said.

"The club's got really big ambitions and I feel like our values align, so I'm really excited for that."

Supporters can expect to see an energetic player who enjoys contributing at both ends of the pitch.

"I'm quite ambitious on the pitch," Barrett said. "I like to push forwards and I like to track back as well.

“I like putting balls into the box and hopefully we've got players that will get on the end of them and
we can have success."

CEO Christian Nourry said: “We are very excited to welcome a player of Nicole’s experience and quality
to the football club.

"Nicole’s versatility to defend and add to attacking phases of play was really impressive last season in Tier 3.

"It is an addition to the team that shows our intent to compete this year and one fans can be excited about.”
