Good news from the Club..
Well done Ridwan....

'RIDWAN Hassan has signed his first professional contract with the club.
The 18-year-old striker joined QPR three years ago after being scouted playing
for local side Lambeth Tigers.

Whilst he is pleased with what he has achieved to date, he is already looking to
the future.

“This day means a lot,” he said. “I can look back on all the hard work that I've had to
go through in a short space of time to get to where I am today - since joining at under-15s
and getting my scholarship at under-16s, I've been working hard, pushing myself past my
limits.

“The aim now is to be exposed to more first-team football, whether that be here or out on
loan - I want to continue pushing past my limits, and continue to make myself and my family
proud.”

Hassan was part of the Development Squad group that won the London Senior Cup in April,
which followed the club’s Premier League Cup success in 2025, and he admitted: “It's really
good the way we're moving as an academy.

“Hopefully we can keep picking up more trophies and building a name for ourselves, because
that will give me and my teammates more confidence to push on.”

Hassan, who has already benefitted from loans with Harrow Borough and Hanwell Town, added:
“I'm glad I've met the coaches I've met at this club because they really do care.

“They take time out of their day to help me improve - and they don't shy away even when I'm
always persistent in asking questions!

“I’m really grateful to them.”

CEO Christian Nourry said: “It’s great to see Ridz awarded with a professional contract today
following all of his efforts at the football club so far.

“He is a direct, strong and powerful forward, who has been improving his anticipation,
self-regulation and link-up play in the last 12 months.”
