Spotted Tony Currie signing autographs pre-match.
One down after 13 minutes with their first attempt
& two down with their second after Jonathan Varane
had given them the ball.
There was a soft header from Richard Kone into
the keeper's gloves before the break.
Have to say at times the game resembled a Sheffield United
training session
The arrival of Paul Smyth in the 2nd half helped raise some
urgency but have to say the visitors were pretty comfortable.
That said we were on our feet around 75 minutes when
Richard Kone headed in Harvey Vale's corner.
We had no idea at the time why it was ruled out but it
later turned out that Paul Smyth was offside.
On Steve Cook, one suggestion was that he is limited
to just a few more appearances as it would trigger a
contract extension
Was in the Conni briefly before the game, where there
were a good turnout of Irish R's, including Steve Bolger
from Waterford who collected the badges he ordered.
30 sold in all, thanks everyone.
