Hull Yesterday.....

The constant drizzle turned into a heavy downpour throughout the
game.
Many were very surprised to see JCS in the starting line-up.
I had expected him to feature in a Development game ahead
of his recall
Decent start until Joe Gerhardt put the visitors ahead on 17 minutes.
I thought our attacks at times became laboured & lacked intensity.
That said, the equaliser came on 38 minutes.
I remember a Hull player slipping over with the ball but still had
time to get up, compose himself & re-take possession.
Good to see Kevin Gallen interviewed at half-time & became a bit
emotional when talking about his Dad's absence.
Well done Kev.
The visitors continued to move the ball with precision & on 51 minutes,
re-took the lead when a deep cross was headed in.
At that point, Rangers went into top gear & Jimmy Dunne's goal on 55 mins
had looked from my vantage point as if it was going over the bar but it dipped
before entering the net
(wild celebrations
)
We continued to create further chances & after Rumarn Burrell had slotted the
ball home on 66 minutes, the Hull players (and myself momentarily) turned to
the lino but no flag of course (cue even wilder celerations
)
Rayan Kolli was intoduced on 72 minutes & forced an outstanding save from the
keeper.
Ben Hamer made an outstanding stop in the closing stages.
Good to see Kieron Morgan come on (would loved to have seen him start though).
26 shots with 8 on target.
JCS played for around an hour & did quite well but should have been better positioned
for their second goal.
Thanks to everyone that purchased badges pre-match.
