'THE FINAL international break of 2025 has landed.
While the Championship pauses for the third time this season, a number of QPR
players are in action around the world.
There could be a debut for Richard Kone following his first senior call-up. Kone is
in the Ivory Coast squad for friendlies against Saudi Arabia (Friday 14th November)
and Oman (Tuesday 18th November).
R’s pair Rumarn Burrell and Isaac Hayden are both jetting off to join Jamaica. The Reggae
Boyz travel to Trinidad and Tobago (Friday 14th November) prior to a home clash with Curaçao
(Wednesday 19th November) in World Cup qualifying.
Captain Jimmy Dunne returns to the Republic of Ireland. The Boys in Green are in World Cup
qualifying action at home to Portugal (Thursday 13th November) before heading to Hungary
(Sunday 16th November).
Across the Irish border, Paul Smyth has once again been named in Northern Ireland’s squad.
Smythy’s in Slovakia (Friday 14th November) before flying back to Belfast for the visit of
Luxembourg (Monday 17th November).
The Caribbean is calling for Jonathan Varane. The R’s midfielder has made the Martinique
squad for friendlies with Cuba (Saturday 15th November) and Dominican Republic
(Tuesday 18th November).
Closer to home, Kieran Morgan has earned a second call-up to England’s U20s for a friendly
with Japan (Friday 14th November) in Doncaster.
Elsewhere, youngster Leon Scarlett is away with Wales U17s; the Dragons kicking off their U17 Euro
qualifying campaign against Slovenia (Wednesday 12th November), Portugal (Saturday 15th November)
and Liechtenstein (Tuesday 18th November).
