So, what is going wrong?

Post by ESSEXURs »

After Coventry we looked a side capable of at least getting into the top six.

But for the last few games we have looked far from that quality.
Is it a case we have

Been found out in our style of play.

Have we a foreign manager not suited to the demands of this League.

Have we not addressed the problems in defence and as usual overloaded with
midfielders.

Are we chopping and changing the team to possibly keep players happy at the
expense of the benefits of a settled side.

With starting the woeful Walsh have we created problems with Nardi now Walsh
is injured.

I have always thought he is a good shot stopper but often doesn’t clear the ball to safety
and his inability to come off his line is well known and teams play on it.

The players have looked tired after halftime are they over training or not suited to the
demands of this League?

We need to assess what is happening and start again and at least stop conceding possession
especially at home

One of the things that springs to mind is the constant team
rotation.

With nearly all the 1st team squad there is big competition
for places.

I was more than surprised that we didn't start with a winger
yesterday!

From 10 minutes in, I thought that Ezquerdinha and Vale weren't at the races.

Need to attack with pace. Repeated slow build up is too predictable.

Need suppliers to stick to their role of providing for forwards. There were chances
wasted with long range shots when the ball should have been worked in further.

Is there a fitness issue? Need to be sharper

That's two really awful performances on the bounce. Yes indeed what has gone wrong. Too much rotation?

The form of Nardi has slumped this season. Why? He was not this sloppy when he first joined the club.
Walsh no better. Do we take a chance on a third choice keeper.

We need to turn matters around and Kone needs to start scoring again
