Like Young Kerrins Brian was an early hero of ours.
I’m amazed he lived to to his age of 88 given he was such a great header of the ball and the percentage of Rs corners he got his head to was impressive.
He was unfortunate to be overtaken by the emerging 1966 team and I was personally sorry to see him leave the club.
