Good luck to them, from the Club...
'A NUMBER of QPR players are away on international duty.
While the Championship takes its first break of the season, five First Teamers and four youngsters
have been called-up by their respective nations.
R’s skipper Jimmy Dunne is in World Cup qualifying action with the Republic of Ireland; hosting Hungary
(Saturday 6 September) before a trip to Armenia (Tuesday 9 September).
Isaac Hayden is also away following his recent return to Rangers. The midfielder – who made his second
debut in Saturday’s win over Charlton Athletic – jets off with Jamaica for World Cup qualifiers against Bermuda
(Friday 5 September) and Trinidad and Tobago (Wednesday 10 September).
There could be an England U20 debut for Kieran Morgan following the youngster’s first inclusion. Ben Futcher’s
boys face Italy in a friendly on Friday (5 September) in Chesterfield.
Kealey Adamson is China-bound with Australia’s U23s. Our summer signing from the A-League faces Northern
Mariana Islands (Wednesday 3 September), Timor-Leste (Saturday 6 September) and China PR (Tuesday 9 September)
in Asian Cup qualifying.
There’s also been a late call-up for Rhys Norrington-Davies. The left-back – who made his R’s bow against the
Addicks – has replaced Jay Dasilva in the Wales squad which flies to Kazakhstan for a World Cup qualifier
(Thursday 4 September) before a friendly with Canada in Swansea (Tuesday 9 September).
Elsewhere, Development Squad striker Cian Dillon is in Ireland’s U21 squad for Euro U21 qualifiers versus
Moldova (Thursday 4 September) and Andorra (Tuesday 9 September).
Under-18s trio Leon Scarlett (Wales U17), Charlie Street (Wales U18) and Kevin Wadman (Romania U17)
are also away representing their respective nations.
Good luck to all our International R’s!'
