Good luck to him. From the Club.
'KOBE Agbude has joined QPR’s Development Squad.
The 18-year-old right-back signs following a successful trial.
“It feels unbelievable,” he told www.qpr.co.uk. “I’m really grateful to everyone for giving me this
opportunity. I’m really excited to be here and can’t wait to see what can happen.”
Agbude is the latest summer arrival at the academy.
Now he’s aiming to follow in the footsteps of several others who have broken into the first team before him.
“I’m glad I’m at a club that has that strong pathway,” he said. “It gives me something to work towards every
day in training. Hopefully I can get my opportunity.”
Describing what R’s fans can expect of him, Agbude added: “I’m a defender, but one that likes to get forward.
I like to score goals, get assists and be offensive.”
The youngster has been at Heston for several weeks and is now looking forward to continuing his journey in
West London.
“I’ve enjoyed it so far,” he said. “it’s a good group of boys and the staff have all been great with me, too.
I’m just ready to give everything I have.”
QPR CEO Christian Nourry explained: “Kobe is one of a number of promising players who has trialled with us
this summer.
“His explosiveness and physicality - as well as his reading of the game beyond his years - was enough to convince #
our staff to offer him a contract. We welcome him with open arms.”
