Welcome to the R's Fern....

'QPR FC Women are delighted to confirm attacker Fern Orchard has joined us ahead of the
2025/26 campaign - which kicks off against Milton Keynes Dons on Sunday.

Orchard arrives in W12 from Plymouth Argyle, where she progressed through the club’s pathway
from the Under-23s to the first team in the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division.

A pacy and direct winger, she caught the eye with her ability to take on defenders and create chances,
while also earning recognition off the pitch as one of Argyle’s PFA Community Champions for 2024/25.

The 20-year-old is excited to bring her attacking qualities to West London.

“I’d describe myself as an attacking player, I like to push forward with the team and be involved in as
many attacks as I can,” she explained.

“I work hard in and out of possession because if you want success in a team, that’s what you have to do.

“I think I’m quite technical on the ball. I enjoy one-v-one situations, driving down the wing and trying to
get in as many crosses or shots as possible.”

She also has clear targets for her debut season with the Hoops.

“The first time I came here and saw the facilities, you could see straight away the ambitions of the club
are massive," Fern said. "That’s definitely something I want to be a part of.

“All the girls and staff have been so welcoming.

“I can’t wait to get started, score goals, help create as many attacks as possible and ultimately win games
to be at the top of the table.”
