One of our all-time greats. Scored the winning goal in the 67 League Cup Final.

Sad news
Career of over 600 games with one in 4 strike rate.
Over 200 of these games were for QPR with 1 in 3 strike rate.
Must have been a great player to watch for those who got to see him in action.

Conor,
I and others were were priviledged to have seen Mark play on many occasions.
We all stood on the uncovered South Africa Road terrace, on the half way line, long before the advent
of the new stand.
The players back in the day used to emerge from the dressing rooms situated under the original Ellerslie Road Stand,
and Mark, without fail, used to head over towards us to the chant of LAZARUS - LAZARUS WITH both arms aloft in
acknowledgement.
God bless you Mark, all our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this critical time.

Thanks very much for sharing that Bill.
Along with a healthy scoring rate, I take it that Mark would have created many scoring opportunities
for team mates.
Hopefully, the current squad will take inspiration from Mark's level of performance and appreciation of
fans.
