Not official mate....from what I was told today I will be surprised
if it doesn't happen.
if it doesn't happen.
Re: So it's Goodbye to Marti...
Well if the first half performance was anything to go on he is going!
No closing down no marking just training ground dummies to be walked around without reaction.
One of the most inept first half performances and I have seen a few in my time of following the Rs.
Did the players know or were they reacting to X chatter etc
Next 48hrs will be interesting.

After Sundays revelations that MCs agent is in preliminary talks with West Brom it has gone strangely
quiet.
With all the news about it, broken on Sky, surely we should expect a comment from the Club.
I can’t see how MC can carry on with yesterdays news questioning his 100% loyalty to the club.

Re: So it's Goodbye to Marti...
I've always backed Marti...... until the last poor run of games.
We have been tactically inept time after time. We have some decent players, but yet we still lose.
Our best players are kept on the bench until the game is well & truly lost.
We seem to forgotten the basics of the game.
Coaching, tactics, substitutions - these are all Marti's responsibilities, and he is failing on all of them.
OK, he kept us up last season and this season, but have we progressed at all this season??

There is no consistency in our performances. We are either good or bad and invariably we get out of jail
with second half performances. MCs starting line ups are baffling to say the least and when changes are made
we usually get out of jail.
A good manager in control of his players would not let losing runs go on as long as they do.
Was a great fan of him but fast losing that feeling and I do not expect our manager to be looking elsewhere whilst
in charge.

I agree with every point, ESSEX. Except for 'no consistency' -we're consistently clueless, in all areas.
For my sins, I went to Stoke away; before the game, there was an interview with their manager,
and he said "QPR are very streaky" - & we've been on a poor streak for ages.
This season has been yet another rollercoaster ride, the same problems/shortcomings happen
in every game, with no sign of them being addressed by the manager.

Just noticed this and it explains everything!
“Zonal marking is a defensive strategy in football where each player is responsible for marking
a specific zone on the field rather than marking individual players”
Maybe MC didn’t explain they were just not looking after the bit of grass they were standing on!
Burnley players were able to interpass between our static grass tending players with embarrassing ease.

Re: So it's Goodbye to Marti...
Very true - Burnley found it so easy to slip through our defenders, and that's been the case for a while now.
As I say, things like that are down to the manager. As fans, amateurs in the game, WE can see it -
so why can't Marti??
