"Board Considering"......
......Warburton's future, according to at least one paper.
But who is out there, who would be a better manager for us?

Re: "Board Considering"......
You know that famous song from the Film Musical Oliver springs to mind here. Here is a different version
We're reviewing the situation
Can we ever get a manager with no strife.
All trials and tribulations.
Hope we're not stuck with Warburton for Life.
A new manager could set us free.
No more cock ups in a defensive melee.
No more hoofing up field to nobody.
On a massive transfer spree.
Sanctions from the FFP
I think we'd better work it out again
Apologies to Ron Moody

I've also been "reviewing the situation," and I've come up with a few more Rs-related Oliver! songs:
"Consider Yourself Sacked," "You Gotta Pick A Striker Or Two," and how about
"Hoos, Glorious Hoos" (some mishtake, shurely? - ed.)
Perhaps kerrins & I could write a whole musical between us!

In this game.
One thIng counts
Scoring goals
In large amounts
Near misses not fine.
Supporters will whine
You gotta pick a striker or two boys
You gotta pick a striker or two.
Take no tips
From Lyndon Dykes.
He only scores
If he likes
Chair's record is good.
But not as it should
You gotta pick a striker or two boys.
You gotta pick a striker or two.
Sigh! Ron Moody must be turning in his grave.

Brilliant, Bernard!
Well, between us I reckon we've got enough songs for our new, Rs-related production of Oliver!
We're the new Rodgers & Hammerstein - Rodgers & Hammersmith maybe??
Now all we have to do is come up with a cast. I suggest:-
Fagin - Gianni Paladini
Artful Dodger - Stan Bowles
Bill Sykes - how about Steve Russell?
and there can only be one Oliver; your good self.
It's sure to be a winner - Oscars all round!!

Loves Darlings. Simply adore the cast list
I thought about adapting some lyrics from the Oliver song Be Back Soon in relation to Mark Warburton but my heart was not really in it
