As assertive start for the R’s soon produced the opening goal. It came when Alfie Tuck floated the ball into the box
and despite evading a couple of attempts, it was the Rangers captain, Noah McCann, who finished from close range.

Playing at a good tempo and producing some neat passing, the home side doubled their lead a few minutes later.

Good work by Jaiden Putman got him into the box, where he was brought down, and Mr Harris had no hesitation
pointing to the spot. Youssef Yahyaoui stepped up and sent Archie Howard the wrong way.

The R’s No.9 then set-up Ramy Bouhiaoui, who superbly side-footed a half-volley into the corner of the net.

At the other end, Lucas Johnson let fly from just outside the box, which produced an excellent save from
Conor Clark.

Mr Harris harshly booked Ramy Bouhiaoui, and at half-time, the score remained 3-0 to the R’s.

Micah Hyde brought on Lorenzo Strachan at the expense of Ramy Bouhiaoui.

Sam Manufor provided some very smart defensive play when the R’s No.5, whilst under pressure, took control
of the ball in his own half and proceeded to clear the danger.

Picking up a loose ball, Youssef Yahyaoui, took aim and fired the ball goalwards, which then produced a very
good save from the City keeper.

The next two changes saw Hassan Hamid and Louie Carr replace Teddy Lawrence and Tyler Young respectively.

Shortly after, Jake Coomes came on for Emmerson Sutton.

Situated in the six-yard box, the Rangers substitute couldn’t quite connect with a dangerous cross fired over
from the right-flank.

Archie Howard was almost caught out with a back-pass. Chasing back, the City keeper was relieved to see the ball
ending up just wide of the upright.

For the Tigers, Stan Ashbee’s low-shot just flashed past the far-post.

QPR’s fourth goal came after Jake Coomes squared the ball from close to the bye-line and Youssef Yahyaoui’s effort
took a slight deflection before entering the net.

After Conor Clark had done really well to stop Jay Long’s shot, the ball then went loose and safely away.

A well-deserved win for the R’s, who will take on Coventry City at their training ground next Saturday.
