Sky TV Again...

Post by Steve Russell »

Next batch. From the Club...

SKY Sports broadcast selections have now been confirmed for the period up to the FA Cup third round,
the weekend of 11/12 January 2025, with six further QPR fixtures picked for live transmission.

Selections and adjusted kick-off times are as follows:

QPR v Coventry City - Tuesday 22nd October 2024, KO 8pm - Sky Sports Football

Watford v QPR - Saturday 30th November 2024, KO 12.30pm - Sky Sports Football

Bristol City v QPR - Saturday 14th December 2024, KO 12.30pm - Sky Sports+

Norwich City v QPR - Sunday 29th December 2024, KO 12.30pm - Sky Sports+

QPR v Watford - Wednesday 1st January 2025, KO 12.30pm - Sky Sports Football

QPR v Luton Town - Monday 6th January 2025, KO 8pm - Sky Sports Football

The EFL’s new record domestic deal with Sky Sports represents a 60% increase on the rights
value - and subsequently enhanced coverage for all clubs across the Sky Bet Championship, League One
and League Two.

Part of the deal has seen the EFL and Sky Sports commit to providing supporters with more notice for live TV selections
and subsequent kick-off amendments.

With picks now confirmed up until the FA Cup third round in early January, this increases the notice period from five
weeks to up to five months.

A reminder that while EFL clubs are no longer permitted to stream selected matches domestically from the ’24/25 campaign,
overseas fans using our very own QPR+ service will remain largely unaffected by the new broadcast deal. We can also
continue to provide live commentary of all league and cup fixtures.

Broadcast selections are subject to change due to fixture rearrangements in relation to international call-ups and Cup ties.

Sky Bet EFL fixtures will be broadcast via either an existing Sky Sports channel or Sky Sports+ - a new way for fans to
discover and stream live sport via a new channel and numerous live streams. Integrated into the current Sky TV experience
and the revamped Sky Sports mobile app, Sky Sports+ is available at no extra cost for subscribers of the full Sky Sports package.

All televised fixtures will also be available on streaming service NOW.

Schedule and Slots

During a regular weekend, fans can watch a minimum of seven matches on a Saturday lunchtime (12.30pm kick-off),
frequent slots on a Friday night and additional selected picks on a Thursday night, Sunday afternoon and Monday night.

26 of the 36 matches of a regular weekend across the three divisions have NOT been moved from the Saturday 3:00pm
# kick off slot.

Mid-week matches

All mid-week Sky Bet EFL fixtures across the three divisions will be broadcast on Sky Sports, on a Tuesday or Wednesday night.

A minimum of two matches from the Championship will be selected to be broadcast on Sky Sports Football. Championship
Clubs will play mid-week Sky Bet EFL fixtures on four occasions in this period.

All remaining matches will be available to stream via Sky Sports+.

Bank Holidays

All Sky Bet EFL fixtures on Boxing Day and New Years Day across the three divisions will be broadcast on Sky Sports or
available to stream via Sky Sports+.

By November, selections shall be made in respect of all matches to be played between the end of the third round proper
of the FA Cup and the first weekend of March and these will be announced later in the month.

Getting over for Millwall and Norwich home games so far Steve.

Great airfare prices on those dates. £37 return for Millwall and £38 return for Norwich.

Having a wee look now to see if I can get another game in for these confirmed match slots.

Looking forward to getting over!
