Good news from the Club....

JAKE Leahy has signed his first professional contract with the club.
The left-back, 18, began the season with QPR’s Under-18s and has since become a regular
for our Development Squad.

Jake joined Rangers as a 12-year-old and, after signing pro terms for the very first time, told www.qpr.co.uk:
"I'm over the moon.

"I've worked so hard for so long for this moment and I'm really proud.

"It's a big moment for myself and my parents who have supported me for all of these years.

"I've taken my opportunity this season and I've enjoyed it, too. I feel like I've adapted and been a consistent performer
for the Development Squad.

"Next season, I want to continue to play consistently well for the Development Squad and also work on some of the
key areas that I need to.

"Hopefully I can also push on towards the first team - even if that's just in training. I want to show that I can step up
and handle myself."

CEO Christian Nourry said: “Jake is an individual who has progressed up the ranks at a lightning speed at QPR since
my arrival owing to his absolutely impeccable approach to off and on-pitch work.

"He has the makings of a model professional footballer and has more than earned the right to fight for greater things
at QPR."
