From the Club:
'QPR FC Women are back in Combined Counties Cup action on Thursday evening
when we travel to face Maidenhead United at Arbour Park (kick-off 7.45pm).
Drawing 3-3 with London Seward on our last outing, the focus now switches from league to cup as
Steve Quashie's R's make the short journey to Slough and attempt to book a spot in the semi-finals.
Last time out in the competition, QPR secured a place in the quarter-finals courtesy of a 4-3 victory
over Ashford Town.
Despite going behind early on, goals from Grace Stanley, Courtnay Ward-Chambers and a double from
Katie Akerman completed the comeback.
The R’s will be taking on a Maidenhead United side who currently compete in the FA Women’s National
League Division One South West.
