There was a late switch from Dartford FC to the Sparrows Lane
training ground.
Chris Hewitt still made it in time and passed on the starting line-up
& subs as follows:
Cant, Drewe, Leahy, Hawkins, Rendall, Sackey Ajose,
Tuck, Jeche, Murphy, Anthony.
Subs: Loades, Talla, Pedder, Bala & a trialist, Joe Andrews

'I found out as I was stepping off the train at Dartford.
One of the players was on the train and said hello to me as I wearing a QPR bobble hat.
I told my friend who was on the phone to me ‘ it can’t be at Eltham, one of the players is with me ! ‘ .
He then checked his phone and had a text from the QPR Academy telling him the news.
I asked railway staff at Dartford ‘when’s the next train to Eltham and how longs the journey’.
It turns out the player would have been 30 minutes late . I don’t have Uber but the boy did, I said book an
Uber and we’ll share the cost’. He had to turn up at 11.30, we arrived at Charltons training ground at 11.29.
