Is there now a club historian?

Post by Keith Bradley og »

I recall reading a while ago that the club was planning to appoint someone to this role? Does anyone know if this happened?

On a related matter - is Gordon Macey's The Complete Record, which covers seasons up to 2008-09, the latest book source of our playing records? If so it's a real shame that nothing more up-to-date exists. There's nothing comparable in the digital world......

Keith Bradley og. I do not think a Club Historian has been appointed yet. Steve Russell may have more updated info.

Yep that Gordon Macey QPR Record book is the latest I am sure.

Thanks - I found the club announcement which I had missed.
Is there any news on initiatives - club museum, setting up a digital database of programmes, producing an updated complete record for example?

kerrins, is there actually any plan for a QPR museum???
KBog seemed to just be asking if there were plans, rather than saying that there were plans for one.

Steve. The only info that I have at present and is nearly 2 to 3 years old is the Club do intend to have a Museum in the future but most likely at our new stadium location(when that arrives)....Some very tentative debate about whether they can arrange a Museum facility whilst still at Loftus Rd.

If anyone else can add further advices I would be obliged

Maybe the Club Historian can answer this question for me:
was there a third Morgan twin??
I was reading a 1967 programme just last night & in the reserves/youth team,
we had Morgan I., Morgan R. & Morgan J. Is he any relation? And what happened to him??
