That Cup Win over Corinthian-Casuals Last Night....

The tie finally got underway last night at the KIng George Arena.

Harry Cant made a vg save just one minute into the game.
The next 20 mins or so were fairly even.

There was a long delay following what looked like a serious shoulder
injury to a Casuals player. Eventually he was gingerly led across the
pitch with the aid of some oxygen.

We took the lead when Lorent Talla's shot hit the back of the net via a
slight deflection.

However, the home side equalised a couple of mins later from a corner
which curled straight in.

Micah Anthony was causing problems down the left & after he was brought
down in the box, he stepped up to convert from the spot.

With wind-driven rain sweeping across the pitch, we increased the lead when
Harry Murphy followed up after the ball had been cleared off the line.

Rangers absolutely dominated the 2nd half, and Arkell Jude-Boyd made it four
with the goal of the game when he smashed the ball into the net from over
20 yards.

There was a bit of a coming together around the half-way line but when it re-occurred
soon after, sub, Trent Rendall was sent off.

Rangers comfortably negotiated the final stages.

Team: Cant (currently on loan at Ashford Middx but brought back), Jude-Boyd, Shann,
Sackey, Woodman, Hawkins, Uncle Albert, Murphy, Jeche, Talla, Anthony
Subs: Loades, Rendall, Bala, Ajose,

Attendance: 136

And well done to the Club for producing such an excellent match programme.
Next up, Dartford away....
