Re: Amit Bhatia
And there's worse: Before Bhatia stood down, he gave naming rights to Matrade FOR FREE.
To promote tourism in er, wherever they're from. But F-all for the Club.
And Bhatia gets the SA Rd. stand re-name d after him.
I'm fecking fuming at all this.

Re: Amit Bhatia
Here's a quote from the article now up on the IndyRs Facebook site:
"The club's Malaysian owner renamed the stadium as a corporate social responsibilty initiative...to promote trade....
as his contribution to Malaysia, he is renaming the stadium for free."
Now, I know the Club is running at huge losses every month; and it's their money that's keeping us afloat -
they own the Club, after all so you might say, "Well they can do what they like."
And strictly speaking, that would be correct.
BUT when we're still affected by FFP, a few bob for the naming rights would be a help.
That's why it staggers me that Bhatia could give the naming rights away, AND get the S.A. Road stand named after him as a reward!

Further to all of this:
The Heston Training Ground is to be renamed 'The TSG Elite Performance and Training Centre'.
A partnership agreement has been reached with the family of co-owner Ruben Gnanalingam with regard
to the re-naming.

Re: Amit Bhatia
At least it seems we're getting some money from this!
Re: Amit Bhatia
There is no way on earth we should be naming a stand at Loftus Rd after Bhatia .....
Ok I can just about stomach everything else.

Agreed, young kerrins; there are many people associated with the Club who have a better claim than him.
