Re: White City Area Development....
Land swap coming up?
Interesting the red line only includes Loftus Road south of South Africa Road.

Yes, they've included the stadium in the re-gen area, but it could just as easily have been left out.
Does this mean LBH & F is willing to pay to upgrade LR???

Re: White City Area Development....
Obviously something is happening otherwise Loftus Rd inclusion makes no sense. Looks like Loftus Rd Stadium
will change to residential and we will be given an area more suited to a stadium within the designated area.
Hopefully if this happens a suitable memorial will be left in the present stadium site.
My local Colchester team moved from Layer Rd across town to a new Stadium and the old site was used for
housing surrounding the retained old pitch area with an excellent statue commemorating the old ground.
No doubt Steve can link to my article on the subject.

Optimistic I might be but I can’t think of any other reason you would cross the road with
the red line to include just the Rs.
Thanks Steve!

My thoughts exactly, Colin.
Could turn out OK for us, as long as we get a decent new location.
