I'm reading a biography of Keith Moon called Dear Boy..
I thoroughly recommend it - a belly laugh on every page.
The Rs are mentioned once, when 2 of Moony's old mates -
Tony Brin & John Schollar - are said to be QPR season ticketholders.
Anybody know them?? (mind you, this was years ago.)

The Rs get another mention in a book I've just read;
a great spy book, called Kennedy 35 by Charles Cumming.
Set in 2002, one line goes, " The driver of the cab was wearing a Queens Park Rangers football shirt...."
A London taxi driver; wearing a QPR shirt.....hmmm, I wonder if this character was based on a real person??
8-)

2 nice Rs flags in the audience, at the England v Denmark game;
one said We Are QPR, the other said QPR On Tour.

Still at the Euros, our very own Lindon Dykes was interviewed on the touchline after the Scotland game last night.

Reading an article in yesterday's paper, a familiar name jumped out of the page.
It said, "....The number of pregnant women getting the jab dropped to 32.1% form 35%.
Steve Russell, NHS England's national director for vaccinations said......" :o

So that's what he does, when he's not following the Rs!!

Time to dust the cobwebs of this fred:
a report in today's Daily Mail says that 2 QPR Academy players were arrested at the training ground
on charges of voyeurism at a nightclub & are currently in police custody!

I read this in a paper recently; by one Peter Bleksley, described as 'former Scotland Yard detective & tv presenter' - also an Rs fan?
In an article about Gary Lineker, he said, "I happened to spot a mention of Rodney Marsh in a book on a coffee table. A maverick genius of a striker, he had been my childhood hero. But all Lineker could do when I mentioned this was issue a withering put-down of him. He appeared incapable of saying anything pleasant."
