With no first team games time to discuss other Rs subjects.
Young Kerrins and I in our pre match ramblings usually in The Eagle have often discussed our support for the Rs.
Why QPR?
The Rs nomadic existence is legend with numerous grounds occupied before finally settling in Loftus Rd in 1917.
If the previous owners Shepherds Bush had not folded I often wonder where would Rs have settled.
My father and probably his father before him followed the Rs in the early days especially as my family lived in
Latimer Road. So wherever they settled we probably would have supported them.
If Rs were not in Shepherds Bush who would we have supported? Unfortunately Brentford, Chelsea or Fulham is
the obvious choice.
If Shepherds Bush had not folded would we have supported them?
Re: Support
Like I have posted on previous occasions. My grandfather was born circa 1886 and my father was
born 1915 and as there was no QPR FC in the Shepherds Bush area till 1917. Fulham for them!
I broke the mould

Re: Support
Supporting Fulham may have stopped you being a member of the Kelmscott Gardens gang , so, a wise decision!!
In respect of our supporting Shepherds Bush FC if they had not folded in WW1 we would not have had access to
watching the football league as they were staunchly amateur.
I wonder if they would have been under pressure to go professional in time.
