Preston Game

Post by Conor Campbell »

An odd game yesterday which we would have gone into strongly expecting a win, however, the
comeback was exceptional and must hold great value in this squad's self-belief and confidence to
produce strong performances going forward.

It must have been a great experience for those of you who were there in person to see it.

Not there unfortunately Conor,

Watched the highlights earlier & been told that they were
disappointed we didn't win, based on that 2nd half
performance,

The bottom line is that this was still a poor result against a dross Preston team likely to get
relegated and on our own ground too!

We lost our heads in the first 20 minutes or so but amazingly after being 2-0 down and reduced
to ten men the tide turned. Crazy but in the end we could even have scored 4 or 5 goals :!:

A shocking, reckless and totally brainless challenge by Cirkin, gave us a mountain to climb after 15 minutes.

Red card was fully justified in my opinion, just hoping that Cirkin is not another dud signed by the CEO.

Massive credit to the 10 players for the immense character shown, to come back from 2-0 down and were
very unfortunate not to win the game in my view.

Overall though it is still a poor result against a poor team.

Yes Tommy spot on with that last comment overall a poor result against a poor team.

I could be wrong but top teams in this league will see us off. M'boro so far West Ham next
