Non QPR. Harrow Borough FC

Post by Bill Elkins »

Just found this on the HARROW ON LINE.ORG website that makes for quite interesting reading.

Harrow Borough FC are to leave their ground at Earlsmead after more than 90 years due to the ground being sold.

Supporters may recall that QPR played their reserve fixtures at Earlsmead for a short while back in the day.

Well worth a read.

Good spot.
No mention of who has purchased the site. Not suitable size for a stadium for us unfortunately
but have we purchased it for non first team fixtures?

I understand its going to be built on.

They will be looking to ground-share somewhere.

Yes Bill, fond memories of those nights & remember an
attendance of over 1,000 the season we won the title.

Steve, who was the player from Costa Rica who made a couple of trial appearances for QPR reserves
at Earlsmead ?

This guy had so much potential but was released by the club and never played for the first team.
