'QPR Women began their pre-season campaign with a 3-2 victory over Torquay United in a
behind-closed-doors friendly at the club's TSG Training Centre on Sunday afternoon.

Rangers made a bright start and took the lead after just five minutes when a dangerous cross
into the box found Lauren Amerena at the back post, and she fired home to give the Hoops an
early advantage.

The R's had the chance to double their lead from the penalty spot on 32 minutes, but a trialist's
effort was saved.

Torquay equalised on the hour mark, only for Rangers to respond almost immediately. Just two
minutes later, Lexi Reid cut inside and found the net with a composed finish to restore the R’s lead.

The visitors levelled the scores again with 15 minutes remaining, but Rangers reacted well again -
just a minute after coneding, Hana Lalani tapped home Annie Dyzadyk's cross to secure a deserved
3-2 victory for the Hoops.
