Paul Nardi must be on his way, but we still have a lot of keepers around the
1st team & Development Squads!

From the Club......'MURPHY Cooper has returned to QPR after Barnsley activated
a clause to end the goalkeeper's loan agreement early.

The 24-year-old moved to Oakwell on a season-long deal in June following a
hugely-impressive spell with Stevenage in League One last season, keeping 16
clean sheets over 40 appearances.

Cooper - who joined QPR aged 10 and also signed a new contract with the club in
the summer - subsequently made 28 appearances in all competitions at Barnsley this
season.

if Paul Nardi does depart & should Murphy Cooper go out on loan again that still
leaves us with four other keepers around the 1st team squad..

If you ask me Nardi was on his way out the moment this new manager took charge.

They were Rennes together and Nardi was not in favour for the Keepers position there
at that time.

'MURPHY Cooper has joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper spent the first half of the campaign with Barnsley in League One.

Cooper made 28 appearances in all competitions for the Tykes before they activated a clause this
week to end his loan agreement early.

The stopper will now continue to gain valuable experience with the Owls in the Championship.'
