Tonight’s visit to Brentford’s new stadium, my 5th visit but first seeing QPR.
Our under 21s were beaten 4-0 by Brentford’s under 30s. Our team consisted entirely
of teenagers ,two of whom are 16, while the opposition fielded three 21 year olds, a
23 year old, two 25 year olds and a 27 year old.
One of the players was bought for £10 million a year ago and a recent signing ONLY
cost £3 million.
Defeats the objective of having an under 21 league.
Sad to hear of the passing of one of Brentfords coaches who was only in his thirties.
