International R's this Month....

Post by Steve Russell »

Good luck to them.
From the Club...

'ANOTHER month. Another international break.

While the Championship pauses for the second time this season, a number of QPR players
are in action around the world.

There could be a debut for Koki Saito following his first senior call-up. Saito jets off to Japan for
friendlies in Osaka and Tokyo against Paraguay (Friday 10th October) and Brazil (Tuesday 14th October)
respectively.

Rumarn Burrell’s form has earned him an international recall – joining R’s team-mate Isaac Hayden
in Jamaica’s squad for their World Cup qualifiers against Curaçao (Saturday 11th October) and Bermuda
(Wednesday 15th October).

Saturday’s match-winner Paul Smyth is also in action after missing last month’s international schedule
through injury. Smyth’s Northern Ireland welcome Slovakia (Friday 10th October) and Germany
(Monday 13th October) to Belfast in World Cup qualifying.

Rayan Kolli is in Annaba after receiving his maiden call-up to Algeria’s ‘A’ team for back-to-back
friendlies with Palestine (Thursday 9th October and Monday 13th October).

Elsewhere, Development Squad midfielder Alex Aoraha is with Iraq’s U23s for a friendly double-header
in Tunisia while Tylon Smith’s journey at the FIFA Under-20 World Cup with South Africa continues in Chile.

Welsh youngsters Leon Scarlett (Wales U17s) and Charlie Street (Wales U18s) are also on duty for the
Dragons.

Good luck to all our International R’s!'
