From the Club...
'KOKI Saito has returned to QPR, completing a permanent transfer from Belgian side Lommel for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old winger spent the duration of last season in W12 and became a firm fans’ favourite for his energetic
displays.
He made 42 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals – and now he is eager for more.
Speaking in English, a smiling Saito said: “I'm so happy. I'm so, so happy because I love QPR people.
“I am looking forward to playing. I want to make goals and assists. That is important for me and important for the
team.”
Saito admits his relationship with the QPR fans was a big factor for him as he considered his options, adding:
“It's very important for me. When I played the game, when I received the ball, the fans sang my name. I love them.”
Saito confirmed he has enjoyed a good pre-season in terms of training but hasn’t played matches and will therefore
need time to get up to speed – but he insists he is available for selection this weekend when QPR host Charlton
Athletic.
“I didn't play in the games in pre-season but I can play this Saturday, I hope so!” he said.
“I'm really looking forward to wearing this (QPR) shirt and seeing the fans.”
CEO Christian Nourry said: “It is with real pleasure that we welcome Koki back to the football club today.
“It’s been a long summer of trying to find a way to bring him back, but it was always a priority for him
personally to return to the club owing to how he felt he was treated here by all staff, players and fans.
“This deal genuinely would not have been possible without everyone connected to the club. I am sure Koki
will bring more of his magic to QPR.”
This is subject to international clearance and visa.'

Re: Its All Happening! Welcome Back Koki Saito...
Great to see this signing. Hope he can build on his experience with us. Gave us some really
good performances.
He and others need to be able to battle more strongly.
Our suppliers need finishers to work to and a good understanding of how to attack effectively
together.
Glad to see Koki back in the hoops.
