Preston v QPR 18/04/25

Post by Kerrins »

I was at the game. We played well and were far the better side and really deserved to win.
We should have been at least two goals clear at Half time but instead were one down. Missed chances indeed..
....so tell me what's new?

Once the no striker format (Why do we do this :?: ) was pushed to one side and strikers were on the pitch (Preston
could not handle that) we became increasingly on top and it was just a matter of time before we would win although
in the end it turned out to be a late victory.....but as they say at Old Trafford (and many other venues) its not over
until the Fat Lady sings :) ;)

Steve I saw Martin B briefly at half time. Local game for Dave Thomas. Was he there? I thought I got a glimpse of
him in the centre section of the Away end but surely I was mistaken? Some sources said he might attend.

OK Steve. Noted that. I reckon if it had not been local Dave would not have been there.
In any event was he well enough? Hope his progress has not been hampered.
