Development Squad Lost 0-1....

Post by Steve Russell »

The Bristol City team coach didn't arrive until 1pm & the game eventually got
underway at 1.45

Both sides had their chances & it was the away side who scored from a low cross/shot
which was given as a Jack McDowell og?

City had the best of the 2nd half & a string a fine saves by Matteo Salamon kept
the score down.

I really don't understand why a couple of the 1st team squad couldn't have been included?
Apart from giving them game time surely it would also benefit the youngsters?

Team: Salamon, Friel, Putman, McDowell, Keita-Turay, Aoraha,
Sanyaolu, Neill, Hassan, Tarbotton, Petrie,

And a young bench: Clark, Adjetey-Brew, Strachan, Coomes, Balogun

Yes Steve why not include over age players coming back from injury as we could with the old Football
Combination League. The team was a fairly young side on Tuesday as well.
Hopefully some over age players will be included on Friday at Colchester Utd stadium.
