Cup Win for the QPR U14's Girls..

Post by Steve Russell »

News from the Club. Well done to them...

QPR Under-14 Girls have achieved silverware after being crowned champions of the Harold Horskins
U14 Girls Cup at Rectory Park recently.

Led by head coach Paul Golah, who also guided the U14s to Harold Horskins Cup glory last season,
Rangers took on a strong Ruislip Rangers Girls side in the final.

The R’s secured a thrilling 5-4 victory with attacker Angelina Bramble scoring a hat-trick on a memorable
afternoon.

Reflecting on the victory, Golah was delighted with the effort and commitment shown by his young stars.

He told www.qpr.co.uk: “Winning the county cup for a second season in a row is a brilliant achievement for
the group and one that they completely deserved.

“In the previous rounds of the tournament the team played some excellent football and while there were some
beautiful goals in the final, it was ultimately a victory secured through grit and desire to see out the win against a
committed side.

“It has been a privilege to see how this group have developed in all aspects of the game and as individuals over
these past couple of years. I firmly believe with the right support, they can go on to have bright futures and great
successes.”
