That's the Mental Health World Cup, stoopid!
This Saturday @ 6pm, LR.

Anybody know what it's all about?
Is it just the game, or anything else happening??
Anybody on here going?

From the Club...

QPR legends, social media influencers and former professional players are coming together this weekend
to raise money for QPR in the Community Trust, Mental Health World Cup and Beder.

Former R’s favourites Jamie Mackie, Danny Shittu, Nedum Onuoha and Hogan Ephraim will be returning to W12 to join
stars from TV, music and sport on Saturday, 11th May 2024, kick-off 6pm.

Ex-pros will include stars such as David Stockdale, Matt Jarvis, Chris Eagles, and Leroy Lita, celebs such as Seann Walsh,
Joel Beya and A Star Barbers as well as influencers like Yung Filly, EMAN/SV2, and Charlotte Lynch.

Taking the spot of manager for Beder FC will be Sébastien Bassong, who'll be facing QPR club ambassador Andy Sinton
and Leon McKenzie who will be leading the Rest of the World XI.

As we come together to show our support and raise awareness and funds for mental health with a focus on suicide
prevention, this is the perfect day out for the whole family.

If you’d like to be part in this special event, tickets for the celebrity match are available at QPR’s Box Office.

The day got a mention in the papers - The Times, no less!
This was in this Tuesday's edition:

"Politicians get a kicking.
David Milliband returned to British politics to join old cabinet colleagues in a charity football match
against the Westminsterpress at QPR's ground.

Ed Balls, captain of the politicos, selected 3 mayors in Sadiq Khan,
Andy Burnham and Steve Rotherham, while Milliband was in the centre, naturally. Despite Burnham 'falling on his arse'
with his first touch, the former health secretary scored his team's only goal from a late penalty but they were 4-nil
down by that point."
