4-3 win for the QPR FC Women at Ashford last night.
After going one down, Grace Stanley equalised from close range,
then Courtnay Ward-Chambers added another with an angled shot that
entered the goal & came out through a hole in the side netting!
Katie Akerman made it three with a looping shot from wide-right over the keeper.
The hosts pulled one back in fortunate circumstances. ht 3-2.
Ashford equalised a minute into the second-half. Katie Akerman then scored one of the goals of
the season when she smashed a free kick from 35yrds into the net!!!
Next up is a quarter-final home tie v Maidenhead. Well done to Steve Quashie & all the players.
