Decent 1st half, creating a number of chances against a very well organised
Boro' defence.
after the break we just couldn't maintain the intensity of the previous
two games.
A superb 1st touch by Paul Smyth into the box & you have to give credit
to Van Den Berg for that challenge.
Ian Watson was the latest ex-player to be inducted.

Re: Middlesbrough Yesterday...
At half time, I was expecting Marti to bring on Dastardly & Muttley - to deal with the
pigeons on the pitch.
Near the Loft end, there were some very threadbare patches, which must've been re-seeded, judging
by the number of birds pecking away.

Funny you should say that, in the 1st half yesterday, Cambridge
didn't manage a shot on goal & I counted at one point
around 16 pigeons in the penalty area

Remember that time - a good 5 or 6 years ago -
when we played the Phoney Hoops & a squirrel ran on the pitch, from the School End?
One of the papers had a photo of it.

.....tell you what, there's so much wildlife at Loftus Road, David Attenborough could do a series!
